Rose’s is an East Asian inspired eatery and bakery serving lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch with artisan pastries and sweets. Our Food is influenced by the cuisines of China, Japan and the rest of East Asia. We use North Carolina ingredients to produce dishes that embody the strong food cultures from across the Pacific that we find awe inspiring.

Our pastries, sweets, ice creams, and ice cream sandwiches are all made in house and inspired by what is in season in central North Carolina.

Thanksgiving Menu! All pies available for pick up on Wednesday November 25th.   You can order and prepay on the Menufy online ordering.  Last day to order is Saturday November 21st.  
Apple Streusel Pie:  North Carolina apples spiced with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and cardamom baked in a buttery pie crust with a sweet streusel topping.
8 inch serves 10-12  people  $30
Chocolate Chess Pie: Chocolatey and fudgy filling baked in a buttery pie shell finished with dark chocolate ganache.  8 inch  serves 10-14 people $30
Coconut Cream Pie: Rich coconut filling  generously topped with lightly sweetened whipped cream and toasted coconut. 8 inch serves 10-12 people $30
Lemon Buttermilk Pie: Tangy buttermilk custard with lemon curd filling in a buttery pie crust.

Outdoor Dining

We are excited to announce that we are opening up Rose’s up for outdoor dining Starting Friday September 18th! We will have seven tables available for five seatings each day that we are open. The safety and well being of our guests and staff comes first and foremost for us and that is how we came up the following plan. The Rose’s team appreciates your understanding and cooperation as we move towards this next phase in re-opening.

Justin and Katie Meddis opened Rose’s Meat Market & Sweet Shop in 2013, fusing Justin’s skill at whole animal butchery with Katie’s talent for artisan pastry. In addition to selling meat and sweets, the Shop offered sandwiches, ramen and noodle dishes drawing from Justin’s experience in Japanese restaurant kitchens in San Francisco.

In Summer 2017, Rose’s transformed from a meat market to an East Asian inspired eatery, while still serving Katie’s delicious sweets and pastries.
