Rose’s is an East Asian inspired eatery and bakery serving lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch with artisan pastries and sweets. Our Food is influenced by the cuisines of China, Japan and the rest of East Asia. We use North Carolina ingredients to produce dishes that embody the strong food cultures from across the Pacific that we find awe inspiring.

Our pastries, sweets, ice creams, and ice cream sandwiches are all made in house and inspired by what is in season in central North Carolina.

About

Justin and Katie Meddis opened Rose’s Meat Market & Sweet Shop in 2013, fusing Justin’s skill at whole animal butchery with Katie’s talent for artisan pastry. In addition to selling meat and sweets, the Shop offered sandwiches, ramen and noodle dishes drawing from Justin’s experience in Japanese restaurant kitchens in San Francisco.

In Summer 2017, Rose’s transformed from a meat market to an East Asian inspired eatery, while still serving Katie’s delicious sweets and pastries.

Thanksgiving 2024 Menu

Thanksgiving Menu! All pies available for pick up on Wednesday November 27 th from 10 am until 2 pm.   You can order and prepay on the Menufy online ordering.  Last day to order is Saturday, November 23 or until we reach the maximum we can prepare.  We will have cookies, macarons, extra pies, and ice cream available to pick up on Wednesday as well, just not as a pre-order.   
Apple Streusel Pie: North Carolina Apples spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in buttery pie shell topped with crunchy streusel.  
9 inch serves 8-12 people $40
Bourbon Pecan Pie: Classic southern pecan pie filled toasted pecans.  Perfect with vanilla ice cream.
